Car Rental Terms of Service and Agreement
By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in the Car Rental Agreement ("Agreement") provided by Hawaii Transit Service, a business located in the State of Hawaii, Honolulu. I understand that my rental of the vehicle is subject to the following terms:
Rental Period: I agree to rent the vehicle for the specified rental period and to return it to Hawaii Transit Service in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear.
Use of Vehicle: I agree to use the vehicle solely for personal transportation purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. I will not engage in illegal activities, racing, towing, or off-road driving.
Payment: I agree to pay the total rental fee and any additional charges, including fees for mileage exceeding the agreed-upon limit, late returns, or damage to the vehicle.
Maintenance and Repairs: I agree to promptly notify Hawaii Transit Service of any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicle during the rental period. I understand that routine maintenance and repairs are the responsibility of Hawaii Transit Service.
Insurance: I understand that comprehensive insurance coverage is provided for the vehicle, but I will be responsible for any deductible amount in case of an accident, theft, or damage during the rental period.
Liability: I acknowledge that Hawaii Transit Service shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of my use of the vehicle, except to the extent caused by their negligence.
Governing Law: I understand that this Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Hawaii, Honolulu, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms and conditions of the Car Rental Agreement provided by Hawaii Transit Service and agree to be bound by them
By checking this box and providing my electronic signature, I certify that I am authorized to agree to the terms on behalf of myself and any other individuals included in this rental agreement.
